Haman-gun Holds Completion Ceremony for Ip-gok County Park Sky Cycle Experience Facility
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam held a completion ceremony for the installation project of the Sky Cycle experience facility at Ip-gok County Park on the 7th.
The completion ceremony proceeded in the order of commemorative speeches, congratulatory speeches, ribbon cutting, Sky Cycle demonstration rides, and test rides.
The Ip-gok County Park Sky Cycle experience facility is a tourism resource development project with a total budget of 3 billion KRW.
It consists of two 14-meter-high towers and six Sky Cycle lines crossing over the Ip-gok Reservoir.
The Sky Cycle, which starts at a height of 11 meters known to be the height where people feel the most fear, is an experience facility where users ride a specially made bicycle on wires installed above the water surface, pedaling themselves to travel back and forth over a distance of 255 meters.
Also, the Sky Bike, which is boarded at a height of 8 meters, is equipped with an electric device allowing relatively comfortable rides and can accommodate up to two riders.
The Sky Cycle experience facility is directly operated by Hapcheon-gun.
