Volvo Cars Expands Free Warranty Coverage for PHEV High-Voltage Batteries
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Volvo Cars Korea announced on the 8th that it will extend the 8-year/160,000 km high-voltage battery warranty, which has been applied since the 2020 model year plug-in hybrid (PHEV/T8) models, free of charge to all plug-in hybrid models regardless of the vehicle's model year.
Volvo emphasized that this reflects the philosophy of the ‘Long-life Experience’ service, aimed at supporting customers to own their cars without worry for a long time.
With this expansion of the free high-voltage battery warranty, customers who own Volvo’s PHEV models can receive free high-voltage battery repair and replacement services for the same period regardless of the model year.
