OB Beer Strengthens ESG Management Across All Divisions
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] OB Beer announced on the 7th that under the corporate vision of "accompanying consumers for more than 100 years into the future," it held the ‘100+ ESG Management Strengthening Declaration Ceremony’ and will further strengthen environmental management, social responsibility fulfillment, and compliance and transparent management throughout the entire process from beer production to packaging, transportation, and consumption.
The declaration ceremony was held in the order of a special lecture by an external expert on the current status and future of ESG, the ESG management strengthening declaration by OB Beer CEO Bae Hajun, and an ESG workshop.
OB Beer has steadily taken steps to implement ESG since establishing a sustainable management policy in 2017. In particular, on this occasion, it set four tasks (▲Climate Change Response ▲Recyclable Packaging ▲Smart Agriculture ▲Water Resource Management) and decided to reduce carbon emissions by 25% by 2025.

An OB Beer official said, “The climate crisis and environmental disasters are the most serious and important issues facing the world,” adding, “To respond to this, we will actively take action to solve environmental problems by replacing 100% of electricity used with renewable energy such as solar power, expanding packaging recycling, and introducing eco-friendly vehicles in the sales sector.”
