Naibec's Periodontal Tissue Regeneration Biomaterial 'Rizenomer' Receives European CE Certification
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] Naivec, a peptide fusion specialist company, announced on the 3rd that its collagen periodontal tissue regenerant, ‘Regenomer,’ has obtained the European CE certification.
Regenomer, developed by Naivec, is a sponge-type periodontal tissue regeneration graft composed of collagen with a purity of over 99%, making it easy to stop bleeding and regenerate soft tissue after tooth extraction. By filling the periodontal tissue defect area with collagen, the main protein that makes up bone tissue, it secures space for surrounding osteoblasts to migrate and grow, creating an environment favorable for bone regeneration. It also reduces gum infections and promotes new tissue growth.
One of Naivec’s core businesses, tissue regeneration biomaterials, is divided into dental bone regeneration materials and collagen-based periodontal tissue regeneration materials. The periodontal tissue regeneration materials are products manufactured by directly producing collagen as the main raw material, and Naivec is expected to continuously expand its overseas exports with competitiveness in this area. Furthermore, periodontal tissue regeneration materials are high value-added products, which is expected to help increase the company’s profitability.
A Naivec official said, “Global distribution companies ‘Straumann’ and ‘Nobel Biocare,’ which import and sell the company’s bone graft products, have been awaiting the CE certification for the Regenomer product,” adding, “With the acquisition of this CE certification, we plan to package the design and proceed with exports through these global distribution companies.”

He continued, “The CE certification related to dentistry in Europe has strict evaluation criteria and high entry barriers, causing many domestic medical device companies to give up exporting to Europe or change their business direction,” and added, “Naivec will accelerate its overseas market expansion starting with Europe and moving on to the United States, Asia, and Latin America through this CE certification.”
