Seoul Grand Park Celebrates World Environment Day with 'Environmental Restoration, Our First Step' Online and Offline Education
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] Seoul Grand Park announced on the 3rd that it will conduct simultaneous online and offline education programs on June 5th in celebration of World Environment Day.
Seoul Grand Park will provide education to raise public awareness and encourage action on environmental issues, emphasizing the need to restore natural habitats destroyed by indiscriminate human development and activities and to work on ecosystem restoration.
To increase interest in World Environment Day and this year’s theme of "Ecosystem Restoration," Seoul Grand Park will conduct a quiz learning session on its SNS about the practice of reuse and recycling of items known as eco-bags, which are considered environmentally friendly products.
Anyone can participate, and those who leave the correct answers as secret comments by the 4th will be entered into a draw to receive gifticons (30 winners) as prizes.
Until the 5th, an untact (contactless) on-site education will be held with a photo zone where visitors can freely take pictures and read contents such as "World Environment Day" and "Do eco-bags harm the environment?" displayed at the photo zone, then write their answers on quiz cards. The quiz cards are designed as paper air fresheners that can be placed in locations like cars, allowing many citizens to see them repeatedly.
