"Naver Employee's Extreme Choice Is Social Murder... The Person Involved Must Be Punished"
[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] The National Union of Chemical, Fiber, and Food Industry Workers, to which the Naver labor union belongs, recently demanded the punishment of those responsible for the extreme choice made by a Naver employee.
On the 2nd, the Chemical, Fiber, and Food Industry Union stated in a press release, "The extreme choice of an IT worker is a social murder caused by the organizational structure."
The union said, "The supervisor who bullied the deceased was a problematic figure who caused issues at Naver, then moved to Netmarble, where he again caused workplace bullying problems," adding, "The fact that this problematic individual was reassigned to a key position at Naver again is evidence that personnel appointments have been influenced by school ties and regionalism."
The union demanded that Naver immediately punish the person involved, allocate counseling personnel, and improve organizational culture.
