Changwon City Implements 'Visiting Changwon Women's Disaster Safety Education'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Changwon City, Gyeongnam Province, will conduct the 'Visiting Changwon Women Disaster Safety Education' starting from the 3rd to enhance women's disaster response capabilities.
The 'Visiting Changwon Women Disaster Safety Education' is a program that provides education primarily to women who mainly care for disaster safety vulnerable groups such as children, the elderly, and people with disabilities.
The main content includes training on evacuation procedures for different types of disasters (fire, earthquake, typhoon, collapse, infectious diseases). In particular, COVID-19 related prevention guidelines and response measures have received positive feedback from participants.
This year, the first round of education will be conducted for 167 people from 8 institutions, including Masan Hope Regional Self-Sufficiency Center and daycare centers.
