Gyeongnam Province to Deploy Market Managers to Strengthen Traditional Market Competitiveness
Deployment to 10 Markets in the Province, Support for Government and Provincial Public Project Promotion
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Gyeongsangnam-do announced on the 2nd that it will support market managers with expertise related to markets starting from the second half of this year.
Market managers will be responsible for planning and promoting government and local government support public projects, exclusively supporting traditional market online shopping projects, and supporting traditional market events and festivals.
Until now, traditional market merchants have frequently faced difficulties in writing project plans and sharing information when promoting central government and provincial public projects, resulting in inadequate support.
Accordingly, the province plans to place managers in markets to help traditional markets, which have so far been centered on offline sales, to pioneer new sales channels.
If the traditional market merchant associations apply for the market manager support project by preparing project plans through city and county offices by the 11th, Gyeongnam-do will select 10 markets based on selection criteria.
