Songpa Police Station and Korea Sports Industry Development Sign Public-Police Cooperation Security Activity MOU
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] The Songpa Police Station in Seoul announced on the 1st that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Korea Sports Industry Development for public-private cooperative policing activities.
Through this MOU, the two organizations will conduct crime prevention activities such as regular joint patrols and anti-terrorism measures, as well as joint guidance and crackdowns on disorderly conduct. They will also maintain a cooperative system for information sharing and collaborate on police crime prevention, crackdowns, and publicity activities. Korea Sports Industry Development is a public institution under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, managing and operating facilities such as Olympic Park.
