Clean Drinking Water Supply through Turbidity Removal Device Installation
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] The Jin Hae Water Supply Center of the Changwon City Waterworks Office in Gyeongnam announced on the 1st that it completed the installation of a turbidity removal device in April as part of the village water supply facility improvement project in Jukgok Village, Ungcheon-dong.
By installing the turbidity removal device in facilities that exceed drinking water quality standards due to turbidity and color during drinking water quality inspections, it has become possible to supply safe drinking water to village residents.
The turbidity removal device is installed before valley water and groundwater enter the reservoir tank, and removes various foreign substances and harmful materials in advance through a filtration layer composed of filter media and garnet.
