Five Children Including Daycare Kids Confirmed COVID-19 Positive in Gwangju in One Day

According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 1st, one additional COVID-19 case was confirmed the previous night, bringing the total confirmed cases for the day to five.
Among them, cases 2807 and 2808 are a child and a teacher from a daycare center in Buk-gu. They were confirmed infected during a full-scale investigation conducted by health authorities after case 2796, a teacher at the same daycare center, tested positive on the 30th of last month.
The infection route of case 2796, presumed to be the initial confirmed case, has not yet been identified.
Case 2809 is a family member of case 2799, a university student from another region. The infection route of case 2799 is also currently unclear.
