"Please Design a Car" KT Hosts Digico Electric Vehicle Wrapping Design Contest
Until July 4... Total prize money 15 million KRW, 1st prize 5 million KRW
Selected design to be applied to KT's company electric vehicles
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] KT announced on the 1st that it will hold a ‘car wrapping design’ contest visualizing its identity as a ‘DIGICO (digital platform company).’
KT plans to select the design that best embodies KT’s value as a ‘digital platform company based on artificial intelligence (AI), big data, and cloud capabilities’ and apply it to 1,050 electric vehicles used for business operations managed by KT.
Anyone interested in design can participate in this contest. The total prize money is 15 million KRW, with the first prize being 5 million KRW and a KT AI Hotel accommodation voucher; second prize (two teams selected) 3 million KRW each; third prize (three teams selected) 1 million KRW each; and honorable mentions (ten teams selected) will receive meal vouchers for stores equipped with KT AI serving robots.
KT is conducting various marketing activities to announce its transition to DIGICO. These include operating ‘camouflage wrapping’ vehicles bearing the ‘DIGICO KT’ logo, a series of 6-second digital YouTube videos titled ‘DIGICO KT Doodle,’ ‘DIGICO Camping’ where KT’s digital platform services can be experienced outdoors, and TV commercials narrated by actress Youn Yuh-jung.
