Cheongho Nice Ice Water Purifier Sales Up 30% Compared to Previous Year
New Ice Water Dispenser Model Scheduled for Release in June
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Cheongho Nice announced on the 1st that ice water purifier sales increased by about 30% compared to the same period last year until May this year. Cheongho Nice, which launched the ice water purifier in 2003, has since led technological advancements by introducing products such as the wine cellar ice water purifier (2010), ultra-compact countertop ice water purifier (2011), and coffee machine ice water purifier (2014).
Cheongho Nice cited the factors for the increase in ice water purifier sales this year as its 18 years of technological expertise, a diverse product lineup of 15 types of ice water purifiers, consumer psychology favoring premium home appliances due to longer time spent at home, and the spread of home cafe culture.

Won Gwang-jik, Chief Marketing Officer of Cheongho Nice, said, "The increase in ice water purifier sales is interpreted as a result of growing preference for premium products in the water purifier market," adding, "Cheongho Nice will further strengthen its market dominance by launching new ice water purifier products in June."
