According to Gyeongbuk Province on the 1st, as of midnight that day, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in the Gyeongbuk area was 4,701 (including 130 imported cases), an increase of 9 from the previous day. The new confirmed cases by region were 4 in Gimcheon, 3 in Pohang, and 2 in Gyeongju.
Among the 4 new confirmed cases in Gimcheon, 1 is related to the A elderly facility where a cluster infection occurred, and 2 are related to the S karaoke bar. The remaining 1 is a contact of a resident in Jeonnam who was confirmed positive on the 16th.
The infection routes of the 3 new confirmed cases in Pohang are unknown, and among the 2 new confirmed cases in Gyeongju, 1 also has an unidentified infection route.
