Coloring Contest Featuring Beautiful Scenery and Attractions of Yangcheon-gu
Selected 24 Excellence Award Works, Yangcheon-gu Mayor's Certificate and 50,000 KRW Mobile Cultural Gift Certificate Awarded... Postal and Email Submissions Accepted Until June 25, Digital Coloring Allowed
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Yangcheon-gu (Mayor Kim Soo-young) is conducting the "Coloring Yangcheon with Colors, Coloring Contest" open to all citizens until the 25th.
The district created coloring templates of eight locations: ▲ Anyangcheon Ecological Park, where roses bloom beautifully every May ▲ Neomeundeul Park, recently renovated and loved by residents through the Cultural Forest Festival ▲ Yangcheon Urban Agriculture Park, where eco-friendly food is grown directly ▲ Yangcheon Park, a happy place for the whole family with natural grass plaza, small streams, and book resting areas ▲ Yeonui Wood Workshop, made by renovating an old material warehouse ▲ Gaenam Park’s barrier-free forest trail, where steep mountain paths were converted into gentle deck paths ▲ Yangcheon Central Library, the district’s representative library and a new hub of local culture ▲ and the Health Healing Culture Center, an urban healing resting place for body and mind.
This contest is open to all citizens. Participants can download the templates from the notice board on the district’s website, color them, and submit their entries along with the application form by mail or email.
The district plans to select three outstanding works per theme, awarding a total of 24 winners with the Mayor’s certificate and a 50,000 KRW mobile cultural gift certificate. Additionally, 50 participants will be selected to receive a 10,000 KRW mobile cultural gift certificate.
