Relieve COVID-19 Stress at Changwon Cypress Healing Forest
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Changwon City in Gyeongnam announced on the 31st that it is operating a 'Forest Healing Program' at the 'Changwon Cypress Healing Forest.'
The forest healing program operates year-round from Tuesday to Sunday and can be reserved in advance via the internet or phone.
The experience fee is charged. National merit recipients, persons with disabilities, multicultural families, and families with multiple children can use the program free of charge.
The experience takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes, and reservations can be made for either the morning session (9:30 AM to 12:00 PM) or the afternoon session (2:00 PM to 4:30 PM).
The forest healing program offers various customized programs tailored to different groups such as youth, middle-aged and older adults, and seniors aged 65 and above.
The main program contents include health measurement, tea drinking, foot baths, healing meditation, forest trail walking, and making natural products, among about 10 different activities.
The Changwon Cypress Healing Forest is a forest designed to utilize various elements of the forest such as fragrance and scenery to enhance the human body's immunity and promote health.
