Police Conduct 'Special Inspection of Explosives Usage Sites' for Three Weeks in June
For the Purpose of Preventing Industrial Accidents... Activities Focused on Correction and Warning
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] The National Police Agency announced on the 31st that it will conduct a "Special Inspection of Explosives Usage Sites" for three weeks from the 1st to the 21st of next month to prevent industrial accidents.
This special inspection will check whether safety management and usage standards are being followed during the transportation, loading, and blasting processes of explosives at civil engineering and construction sites, as well as whether security facilities are adequate for theft and fire prevention.
Since the purpose is to prevent industrial accidents, the police will focus on on-site corrections and warnings rather than crackdowns and arrests, and plan to actively promote this in advance at civil engineering and construction sites.
