According to multiple media reports on the 30th, Lee had raised approximately 120 million won in cumulative donations by that day. It has been about three days since the fundraising began on the 28th.
Earlier, right after passing the preliminary race on the 28th, Lee posted on his social media account, "We are starting the fundraising committee," and said, "I want to create a miracle of 10,000 won, no more, no less."
It appears that the 2030 generation youth base supporting Lee actively participated in the fundraising. Shortly after the donations started, posts certifying small donations to Lee appeared on various online communities and social media.
Meanwhile, Lee officially declared his candidacy for the People Power Party leadership election on the 20th and has since shown successive 'surprises.'
At that time, Lee held a press conference at the People Power Party Central Office in Yeouido, Seoul, stating, "I will be straightforward. I want to become the party leader," and urged reform by saying, "To sustain the support of young supporters, we must change significantly."
After announcing his candidacy, Lee caused a stir by ranking first in polls for the next party leader. Moreover, he passed the preliminary cutoff for the People Power Party leadership election held on the 28th in first place.
