[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor You Deok-yeol) is conducting a "Healing Walking Challenge" to promote the health of residents whose outdoor activity time has decreased due to COVID-19.
The "Healing Walking Challenge" is a challenge where participants walk along the "Healing Walking Trails" created in Dongdaemun-gu or walk their own walking paths while certifying and introducing them.
Currently, Dongdaemun-gu has a total of five "Healing Walking Trails": "Hongneung Dumulgil," "Cheongnyang Garosugil," "Jangan Cherry Blossom An-gil," "Baebong Dume Shiprigil," and "Cheonjangsan Sky-gil."
Participants in the challenge can walk one of the Dongdaemun-gu healing walking trails during July after registering for the challenge, or take photos or videos introducing their own special walking path and upload them to their personal SNS with the hashtag (#DongdaemunGuHealingWalking) or send them via email to the Dongdaemun-gu Office Sports Promotion Division (mhpark1004@ddm.go.kr).
Residents who wish to participate can register online through the Dongdaemun-gu Office website from June 1 to 30 or register by phone with the Dongdaemun-gu Office Sports Promotion Division.
All participants whose certification photos are confirmed will receive mobile gift certificates, and after the challenge ends, 30 people selected by random draw will receive sports equipment.
For more details, inquiries can be made to the Dongdaemun-gu Sports Promotion Division.
