Hwasun-gun Operates 'Food Processing Technician Certification Class' for Youth
[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Ji-woon] Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 28th that it will operate a "Food Processing Technician Certification Class" for 12 students of Jeonnam Technical Science High School (Principal Kim Jun-seok).
The Agricultural Technology Center has established an educational program for youth to learn processing techniques using local agricultural products and to grow into specialized personnel in food processing.
The course, which started last month, will be held a total of 14 times until July 13.
At Jeonnam Technical Science High School, the program includes food processing theory, practical training such as making apple jelly and milk quality inspection, and after the training, students will also challenge obtaining the Food Processing Technician certification.

An official from the Agricultural Technology Center said, "We have established a specialized educational program for youth to nurture future agricultural industry talents," and added, "We will do our best to create a virtuous cycle structure where local youth lead the development of the agro-food processing industry and create future jobs."
