On the 28th, according to the police, the Gwangjin Police Station in Seoul has booked Mr. A on charges of violating the so-called 'Min-sik Act' under the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Crimes and is conducting an investigation.
Mr. A is suspected of hitting Ms. B, a first-grade elementary school student, with his car at an intersection near the back gate of an elementary school in Gwangjin-gu around 5 p.m. on the 25th. Ms. B is reported to have sustained injuries to her face and knees. The intersection where the accident occurred did not have traffic lights installed, and it was not a permitted left-turn zone, making the left turn illegal.
