[Asia Economy Reporter Gong Byung-sun] The Korea Exchange and Korea Securities Depository are supporting, and the Korea IR Council is organizing, the launch of the KOSDAQ Technology Analysis Report publication project.

On the 28th, the Korea IR Council announced that it signed a contract for the publication of the 2021 KOSDAQ Technology Analysis Report with three technology credit evaluation agencies (TCB): NICE D&B, NICE Credit Information, and Korea Enterprise Data. These three agencies plan to publish a total of 630 reports over the next year. The reports will be regularly published every Thursday from June 3rd this year until May next year.

The technology analysis reports will consist of two types: Innovation Growth Item Reports and Technology Analysis Reports. The Innovation Growth Item Reports aim to select and analyze fields related to the Korean New Deal according to government promotion policies, to increase interest in digital green innovation companies in the KOSDAQ market. The Technology Analysis Reports will add 140 new companies that have not participated in business over the past three years, including newly listed companies, as analysis targets and will provide key ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) related indicators. For companies with previously published reports, the technology analysis reports will mainly include updated information such as business progress and financial data.

The reports will be produced as videos and uploaded to the YouTube channel. Videos related to the reports can be viewed on the Korea IR Council’s YouTube channel ‘IRTV’. A notification service for report publication news is also provided through the KakaoTalk channel. By adding the Korea IR Council channel on KakaoTalk, users can receive publication notifications and access the inquiry page. Additionally, the reports can be utilized through various channels such as the Korea Exchange’s information data system and the disclosure system for listed companies.

A Korea Exchange official stated, “We will continue to provide substantial information about KOSDAQ listed companies by reflecting investors’ opinions.”
