Yujin Group Ace Hardware Wins 'Korea Marketing Frontier Award'

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jonghwa] Ace Hardware, the home repair specialist brand of Eugene Home Center, a subsidiary of Eugene Group, announced on the 28th that it has received the "Korea Marketing Frontier Award" organized by the Korea Marketing Association.
The Korea Marketing Frontier Award was first established in 1993 by the Korea Marketing Association, the largest marketing academic organization and representative society in Korea, to discover excellent marketing cases that can serve as role models for domestic and international companies, disseminate them in the marketing field, and simultaneously enhance domestic marketing competitiveness.
The award ceremony was held on the 17th at the Eugene Home Center headquarters located in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, attended by Eugene Home Center CEO Yoo Soon-tae, Eugene Group Executive Director Yoo Seok-hoon, and Korea Marketing Association President Kim Young-chan.
Eugene Group has been conducting a home repair specialized distribution business in Korea since 2018 in partnership with the American home repair specialist brand Ace Hardware. It is recognized for spreading an advanced home improvement culture that allows anyone to easily enjoy self-interior, upgrading the domestic interior lifestyle to a new level.
Kim Young-chan, President of the Korea Marketing Association (Professor at Yonsei University Business School), said, "Ace Hardware pioneered the domestic home improvement market and created new customer value in an era where business models are rapidly changing due to COVID-19," adding, "Based on differentiated services as a place that helps customers, it is expected to lead the domestic home repair-related market."
