"Will Continue Community-Based Social Contribution Activities through the 'Electroland Elephant Volunteer Group'"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] Electroland announced on the 28th that it has provided a total of 160 fans, 80 units per region, to vulnerable groups such as elderly living alone, low-income families, and single-parent households residing in Daegu and Busan, so they can stay cool during this summer's scorching heat.
On the 27th, Electroland delivered 160 fans worth approximately 5 million KRW to vulnerable groups in Daegu and Busan through the Suseong District Office in Daegu and Busanjin District Office in Busan. A fan delivery ceremony was also held with district office officials in attendance, adding significance to the support activities conducted in cooperation with local governments.
As part of the community-based social contribution project, the 'Electroland Elephant Volunteer Group,' employees from branches located in Daegu and Gimhae personally visited the homes of vulnerable groups to install the donated fans. This volunteer activity was planned to provide practical help beyond simple donations to those who may have difficulty assembling and installing fans.
An Electroland representative said, "As an unprecedented heatwave is expected this summer, we decided to provide this support for vulnerable groups in Daegu and Busan who may face difficulties securing cooling appliances. Electroland will continue to contribute to creating a warmer society by conducting volunteer activities centered on branch-level community engagement."
