"Full of Flavor~" Dongwon F&B, Denmark Latte Trio
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] Dongwon F&B recently launched a premium coffee brand called ‘Denmark Origin,’ made with ‘single origin’ coffee beans, and introduced three new products.
Single origin refers to coffee beans grown in a single region of one country. Unlike ‘blend’ coffee, which mixes beans from various regions, single origin coffee allows consumers to enjoy the unique taste and aroma of the beans themselves.
The products include Cafe Latte, Dolce Latte, and Toffee Nut Latte. The Cafe Latte uses specialty beans from the Cerrado region of Brazil, offering a savory and smooth flavor, while the Dolce Latte uses beans from the Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia, harmonizing well with condensed milk. The Toffee Nut Latte contains top-grade beans from Guatemala along with walnuts.
Dongwon F&B applied the ‘PRE-A&T’ method, a unique coffee extraction technique exclusive to the premium dairy brand ‘Denmark.’ The ‘PRE-A&T’ method rapidly cools the coffee extract obtained from the beans, preserving the original taste and aroma of the beans for a long time.

According to market research firm Nielsen Korea, the RTD (ready-to-drink) coffee market size reached 1.323 trillion KRW last year, growing approximately 6.2% compared to 2018. Among this, the cup coffee market size exceeds 400 billion KRW, accounting for over 30% of the market. Dongwon F&B plans to achieve sales of 50 billion KRW in the RTD cup coffee market by 2023 through its premium coffee brand ‘Origin.’
