Cyworld to Start Acorn Refunds from 6 PM Today
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Cyworld operator Cyworld Z will begin the acorn refund procedure from 6 p.m. on the 25th. Acorns were the currency used to purchase items such as mini homepage background music on Cyworld.
A Cyworld Z official stated, "After completing the identity verification process on the Cyworld homepage, we plan to sequentially refund acorns through SK Communications and transfer them to individual accounts."
Previously, Cyworld Z revealed that at the time of Cyworld service suspension, there were approximately 11 million members, an acorn balance of 3,849,960,000 KRW, and 2.76 million members holding at least one acorn.

The refund was initially scheduled for the 29th of last month but was delayed by about a month due to the extended process of backing up and restoring user information, photos, and videos stored on the old server. The full service relaunch has also been postponed to after July.
