The Jeollanam-do Volunteer Center sponsored the mobile laundry vehicle, and four members of the Yongsan-myeon Saemaeul Women's Association and volunteers participated.
The mobile laundry operation selected Pogok, a remote village where it is relatively difficult to wash blankets regularly, collected about 40 blankets used during the winter, washed and dried them, and then delivered them to each household.
This project was carried out to provide a clean and hygienic environment to households with difficulties in mobility, such as elderly living alone and disabled people, and it was the second operation following Bonghwang Village last month.
One of the beneficiaries of the blanket washing volunteer service said, "It is often difficult to wash winter blankets due to mobility issues, but having them washed and delivered to my home on the same day is very convenient and nice."
