A Blue House official explained the outcomes of the South Korea-US summit on the 24th, saying, "Regarding the South Korea-US-Japan summit, we agree that trilateral cooperation is important in addressing the Korean Peninsula issues and regional global challenges."
In particular, the Blue House official emphasized, "We have an open stance toward the South Korea-US-Japan summit." However, the official refrained from commenting on the possibility of holding such a summit during the Group of Seven (G7) summit in mid-June in the United Kingdom.
