One New COVID-19 Case Reported in Hwasun... Jeonnam Patient No. 1403
[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Ji-woon] One additional COVID-19 case has been confirmed in Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do.
Hwasun-gun (Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 24th that one contact of Jeonnam case number 1338 (Hwasun case number 72) tested positive.
The confirmed case classified as Jeonnam 1403 (Hwasun 73) had accompanied their family member, Jeonnam 1338, to a COVID-19 treatment hospital in another region on the 19th for nursing care.
Jeonnam 1403 tested positive while admitted to the treatment hospital and has no local movement history.
The county is strengthening monitoring of those in self-quarantine related to Jeonnam 1285 as a preemptive measure and is conducting diagnostic tests on self-quarantined individuals.
On the 22nd, diagnostic tests were conducted on 94 self-quarantined individuals, all of whom tested negative.
