Honam University Female Professors Accelerate Development of Employment Improvement Program for Women Engineering Students
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Seon-gang] Female professors at Honam University’s AI Convergence College (Dean Jeong Young-gi) have rolled up their sleeves to develop programs aimed at improving employment for female engineering students.
According to Honam University on the 24th, female professors at the AI Convergence College held the first meeting for the ‘Development of Strategic Programs for Customized Talent Cultivation to Improve Employment of Female Engineering Students.’ On this day, they plan to conduct a mentoring program survey involving female students and female professors from each department and proceed with the development of practical programs.
At the first meeting held on the 17th, Professor Baek Ran (Department of Computer Engineering), who organized career mentoring for female engineers in 2017, reported on the progress of the ‘Female Engineers 2Days Employment Camp.’ Following this, Professor Kang Eun-joo of the Department of Information and Communication Engineering, who is in charge of the overall program, diagnosed the current capabilities of female engineering students and presented a vision for program development strategies aimed at career guidance and employment competency.
