Coupang Play to Live Stream FIVB Women's International Volleyball Tournament... One Month Starting Tomorrow
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Coupang Play announced on the 24th that it will exclusively stream the 2021 FIVB Women's Volleyball Nations League digitally. It will be available for free to Wow Membership subscribers who pay 2,900 KRW per month.
The 2021 Volleyball Nations League, hosted by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB), marks the 3rd anniversary of this international volleyball tournament. It was canceled last year due to COVID-19 and is resuming after two years. The tournament will take place for one month starting tomorrow (the 25th).
A total of 16 teams, including 10 Olympic participating countries such as China, the United States, and Brazil, will compete as a test stage for the national teams ahead of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The final 12 players for the Olympic roster will be selected from the 15-member national team, including Kim Yeon-koung, through this tournament.
The opening match against China is scheduled for 11 PM (KST) on the 25th, followed by the Korea-Japan match at 8 PM on the 27th. The host country Italy will face off on the 7th of next month at 2 AM, and the United States will compete on the same day at 11 PM.
