Police Suspect Large Dog Escaped from Kennel Near Accident Scene
[Asia Economy Reporter La Young-cheol] A woman in her 50s was fatally bitten by a large dog on a mountain in Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province.
According to the police and the 119 rescue team on the 22nd, around 3:25 PM that day, a passerby found A (59) bleeding and lying dead on a mountain in Saneung-ri, Jingeon-eup, Namyangju, and reported it to 119.
A was bleeding heavily from the back of her neck and was in cardiac arrest. She was given emergency treatment and transported to the hospital but passed away about an hour later.
The Golden Retriever (mixed breed) believed to have bitten A was captured nearby.
The police estimated that the Golden Retriever raised at a nearby breeding farm escaped and bit A.
