[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Lee Seung-ro, Mayor of Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, participated in the S.O.S (Save Our Seoul) relay challenge on May 18.
The S.O.S relay challenge started on April 2 at the Seoul Metropolitan Council to protect children from recent child abuse and to address the welfare blind spots for socially vulnerable groups suffering from various violence and abuse.
Lee Seung-ro, Mayor of Seongbuk-gu, participated after being nominated by Park Kyum-soo, Mayor of Gangbuk-gu, stating, "We will continue to cooperate more closely with local related organizations to resolve welfare blind spots in Seongbuk-gu and to respond to and protect against child abuse."
