Man in 30s Arrested for Attacking Father with Bladed Weapon While Drinking at Home
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] A man in his 30s who stabbed his father in his 60s with a weapon while drinking together has been arrested by the police.
The Gwanak Police Station in Seoul announced on the 20th that they have booked and are investigating Mr. A on charges of attempted parricide.
Mr. A is accused of stabbing his father's neck with a weapon around 9 p.m. the previous day at their home in Sillim-dong, Gwanak-gu, Seoul, while drinking with his father. According to the police investigation, Mr. A reportedly stated that he swung the weapon in anger after having an argument with his father. The victim's wound was not deep, and he was discharged on the same day after receiving treatment.
