Pohang City Hosts Ontact 'Job Consulting'... POSCO HR Team Provides 'In-depth Counseling'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-ho] Pohang City announced on the 20th that on June 4th at 2:30 PM, it will conduct an "Employment HaJang" Ontact Employment Consulting event with POSCO Co., Ltd. for 25 local job seekers on a first-come, first-served basis.
This event is a program linked with major companies located in Pohang that provides mentoring such as mock interviews and explanations of companies' recruitment processes and strategies to young people. Due to the implementation of social distancing, it will be conducted ontact (online + untact) using an online video conferencing program.
The employment consulting will involve 13 POSCO employees, including the head of the HR Culture Planning Group at POSCO Co., Ltd. Starting with an employment strategy seminar explaining the recruitment process and detailed information on public recruitment screening for young job seekers, it plans to provide in-depth employment counseling including video mock interviews, group mentoring, and one-on-one feedback.
Youth residing or active in Pohang who wish to participate can apply and submit their self-introduction on the Pohang Youth Center website, and participation is limited to the first 25 applicants.
Lee Deok-hee, Director of the Job Economy and Labor Division, said, "We send comfort and encouragement to young people struggling with employment difficulties due to the spread of COVID-19," and added, "We hope this ontact employment consulting will be a great help to Pohang youth preparing for employment."
