Yun Hojung: "Hope for Vaccine Cooperation Agreement at ROK-US Summit"
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] Yoon Ho-jung, floor leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, stated on the 20th, a day before the South Korea-US summit, "I hope that an agreement on vaccine cooperation, in which both countries actively collaborate to strengthen global vaccine supply, can be reached."
At the policy coordination meeting held at the National Assembly that day, Floor Leader Yoon said, "Now is the time for multifaceted cooperation to overcome the COVID-19 crisis. Expectations for vaccine cooperation are also high."
He added, "Furthermore, we must inherit the Singapore Agreement for permanent peace policy on the Korean Peninsula and the complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula," emphasizing, "Although it is difficult to reopen the dialogue that stalled in Hanoi, I hope that an advanced North Korea policy based on the Singapore Agreement will be presented."
