Korea's First Delivery App Baedaltong to End Service on 24th Next Month... "Minimizing Customer Impact"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Baedaltong, the first delivery application in Korea, will end its service on the 24th of next month and disappear into history.
German Delivery Hero (DH), which is in the process of selling another delivery app Yogiyo, announced on the 20th that Baedaltong service will be terminated as of the 24th of next month.
Baedaltong is Korea's first delivery app launched in 2010 by the startup Stonykids. Later, DH acquired it, making it part of the same family as Yogiyo. DH's decision to end Baedaltong service is analyzed as an effort to simplify its business before the sale.
