Asics Korea Appoints Kim Won-mu as New CEO of Korean Branch
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Asics Korea announced on the 18th that it has appointed Wonmu Kim as the representative of Asics Korea, promoted from Sales Director.
Mr. Kim, a sales expert in the sports and outdoor sectors, has been leading the Asics Korea sales team since 2020. He has contributed to continuous business growth through distribution channel reorganization, strengthening sales management systems, and increasing store efficiency. Before joining the company, he worked at Nike, Puma, Intersport, and Nepa.
Mr. Kim stated, “Going forward, I plan to focus more on business growth not only in overall sales areas but also through strategic volume planning and more effective marketing.”
Meanwhile, through this appointment, Asics Korea conveyed that it will continue to build a healthy society based on the brand philosophy that “a healthy mind resides in a healthy body,” as well as continue efforts for the development of sports.
