Namwon-si Opens Applications for Temporary COVID-19 Livelihood Support Program
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] Namwon City, Jeonbuk announced on the 17th that it has started accepting on-site applications for the government's 4th disaster relief program in response to COVID-19, the Temporary Livelihood Support Project.
The Temporary Livelihood Support is a project that provides temporary livelihood support (500,000 KRW per household) to low-income households whose income has decreased due to COVID-19 but have not received other disaster relief programs.
The eligible households are those registered as residents in Namwon City as of March 1, whose income this year has decreased compared to 2019-2020, with total household income at or below 75% of the median income (2-person household 2,316,000 KRW) and property value at or below 350 million KRW.
Recipients of basic livelihood security benefits, emergency welfare livelihood benefits, and other COVID-19 damage support programs (Emergency Employment Stability Support Fund, General Taxi Driver Emergency Employment Stability Support Fund, Home Care Worker Livelihood Support, Buttress Fund Plus, Income Stabilization Support Fund, Charter Bus Driver Income Stabilization Fund, Agricultural Damage Support) are not eligible for duplicate support.
Online applications can be made by the head of household on the ‘Bokjiro’ website until the 28th, and on-site applications at the Eup/Myeon/Dong Administrative Welfare Centers can be made until the 4th of next month.
