FSN Launches Open Beta Service for Digital Audio Advertising Platform 'Dilo'
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Future Stream Networks (hereinafter FSN), a comprehensive digital marketing specialist company, announced on the 17th that it has launched the open beta service of its digital audio advertising platform 'DILO'.
'DILO' is a big data-based audio advertising platform developed by 'Kauli', FSN's specialized mobile ad network division, targeting the undervalued audio advertising market. It features the integration of various ad tech technologies previously used in existing mobile display advertising platforms based on big data, applied to audio advertising to provide user-customized audio advertising services.
FSN stated that with the recent increase in users of audio platforms such as Spoon Radio and Spotify, the audio advertising market is expected to emerge as a trend for user-customized advertising, similar to video platforms represented by YouTube, which led to the launch of 'DILO'.
During the development of the 'DILO' service, the company introduced various first-time attempts in Korea, including ▲providing real-time audience targeting services ▲maximizing brand recall through simultaneous exposure of audio + display ads ▲offering user convenience through SDK (Software Development Kit), and differentiated itself by solving performance measurement issues, which have been considered obstacles to the growth of the audio advertising market.
'DILO' entered open beta service with 'Podbbang', the largest podcast platform in Korea, even before its official launch, and it is currently known to be pursuing partnerships with multiple companies including 'YTN Radio'.

Oh Hyuncheol, head of FSN's Kauli division, said, “Globally, Spotify, which provides free audio content services, recorded advertising revenue of 1 trillion KRW last year alone, so we plan to actively expand the untapped domestic digital audio advertising market.” He added, “FSN, which launched the new platform service 'DILO', has seen comprehensive performance growth centered on Kauli's untact commerce business clients despite the economic downturn caused by COVID-19 last year, and we expect to maintain growth momentum throughout this year.”
