Kia-Korea University of Technology and Education Recruit 2nd Class for Maintenance and Mold Technology Academy
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Kia announced on the 17th that it is recruiting students for the 2nd Maintenance and Mold Technology Academy in collaboration with Korea University of Technology and Education (KOREATECH) until the 30th.
The Maintenance and Mold Technology Academy is a specialized technical education program jointly operated by Kia and KOREATECH, the first of its kind in the domestic automotive industry, established through a business agreement to provide quality educational opportunities and nurture outstanding talent. It has been running since last year with industry sponsorship and educational institution management.
Anyone interested in acquiring specialized skills and enhancing their capabilities in the maintenance and mold fields required in the automotive industry, including working professionals and students, can apply. Applicants can choose to apply for either the Equipment Maintenance course or the Mold course according to their preference.
Among the applicants, those who pass the document screening and interview will be selected to receive the entire 21-week education program free of charge, which combines online education with on-site theory and practical training. Recruitment, document screening, and interviews will be conducted online, and subsequent schedules will be carried out in compliance with quarantine rules considering the COVID-19 situation.

In particular, Kia and KOREATECH plan to conduct online lectures on weekdays and on-site training on weekends to ensure that students’ work or job-seeking activities are not disrupted. Additionally, outstanding graduates will be eligible for development scholarships and preferential benefits when applying for Kia’s maintenance and mold talent recruitment.
