[Photo] Yudonggyun, Mapo District Mayor, 'Commemorative Tree Planting with Mangwon 2-dong Residents'
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Yoodonggyun, Mayor of Mapo District, held a 'Commemorative Tree Planting with Mangwon 2-dong Residents' event at the green space within Mangwon Retention Basin at 9 a.m. on the 15th.
The event was attended by National Assembly member Jeong Cheong-rae, Seoul Metropolitan Council Vice Chairman Kim Ki-deok, City Council member Jeong Jin-sul, district council members Han Il-yong, Kim Young-mi, Kim Jin-cheon, and about 50 residents of Mangwon 2-dong, who spent a valuable time planting 45 trees to pass on to future generations.
The district plans to actively support residents in planting trees themselves and managing them as they grow.
