Park Min-ji (23, NH Investment & Securities) secured her second victory. On the 16th, at the final day of the KLPGA Tour NH Investment & Securities Ladies Championship (total prize money 700 million KRW) held at Suwon Golf Club New Course in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province (par 72, 6,554 yards), she shot 3-under-par to claim a one-stroke win (14-under-par 202). This marks her second win of the season following last month's Nexen Saint Nine Masters, her sixth career victory, and with a winner's prize of 126 million KRW, she also took the top spot in the prize money rankings (286 million KRW).
Park started the final round with a one-stroke lead and recorded four birdies and one bogey amid heavy rain. Anna Lin (25) tied for the lead early with a birdie on the first hole (par 4), setting up a tense battle throughout. After exchanging a bogey on the 7th hole (par 4) for a birdie on the 8th hole (par 5), Park pulled ahead again with 'stepping stone birdies' on the 11th and 13th holes in the back nine. Her accuracy stood out with a fairway hit rate of 92.86% and green in regulation rate of 72.22%. Anna Lin settled for second place (13-under-par 203) after a birdie on the 14th hole (par 4).
Park Min-ji is a seasoned player in her fifth year since joining the tour in 2017. She first drew attention by winning the Samchully Together Open during her rookie season and has consistently secured at least one win each year. This year, she achieved her 'two-win hunt' early, fulfilling her goal of becoming a multiple winner. The victory held special meaning as it was for her agency's tournament. She revealed, "I increased my driving distance through physical training last winter," and expressed her hunter instinct by saying, "I hope my third win will be a major."
Lee Da-yeon (24, Mediheal) finished third (12-under-par 204), and Lee So-mi (22, SBI Savings Bank), champion of the season opener Lotte Rent-a-Car Ladies Open, tied for fourth (11-under-par 205). Jang Ha-na (29, BC Card) remained tied for 10th (6-under-par 210), postponing her milestone of surpassing 5 billion KRW in career earnings on the KLPGA Tour. Kwak Bo-mi (29, High1 Resort), winner of the Kyochon Honey Ladies Open, halted her bid for a second consecutive win at tied 14th (5-under-par 211). Defending champion Choi Hye-jin (22, Lotte) finished 63rd (4-over-par 220).
