Hoban Construction-KCL Sign Business Agreement for Open Innovation

On the 14th, Hoban Construction signed a business agreement with KCL at Hoban Park in Umyeon-dong, Seocho-gu. Attendees at the signing ceremony included Kim Daeheon, President of Planning at Hoban Construction; Moon Gap, Executive Director of Value Innovation Office at Hoban Construction; Yoon Gapseok, Director of KCL; Kim Dongho, Deputy Director of KCL Business Division; Kim Sangmyeong, Deputy Director of KCL Management Division; and Won Hankyung, CEO of Plan H Ventures (hereafter Plan H).
Through this agreement, Hoban Construction and KCL will exchange technologies and information, and work together for mutual development through new technology verification and research and development. The main contents include ▲ technology verification, research and development, and technical support for products of Hoban Construction and Plan H ▲ business cooperation and information exchange to secure quality competitiveness ▲ joint use of testing facilities and equipment and exchange of test and analysis data ▲ support for quality testing and inspection related to construction work ▲ testing and evaluation in special testing fields for residential building materials such as floor impact sound and energy efficiency ▲ R&D in smart cities, urban regeneration, and building energy ▲ joint development, standardization, commercialization, and patent application cooperation for startup new technologies and new materials.
Yoon Gapseok, Director of KCL, said, “KCL is the largest comprehensive testing and certification institution in Korea, providing testing and certification services across all business sectors including construction materials, energy, and environment. We will support creating synergy by combining Hoban Construction’s technology with KCL’s testing and evaluation expertise.”
