It is not a matter to be patched up with a sacrifice fly or to be glossed over," and added, "Even if they are not appointments decided by the President, I strongly urge a spirit of national unity that selects fresh and competent talents beyond partisan lines, and a change in mindset."
In his remarks at the emergency countermeasure meeting that day, Acting Leader Kim criticized, "The Blue House’s behavior seems like bargaining over whether one or two of the three Im-Pak-Noh candidates will be dropped, as if testing public opinion," and said, "If the ruling party continues its habit of intimidating the opposition with the confirmation of Prime Minister Kim Boo-kyum, public opinion will worsen, and the responsibility for the political deadlock lies entirely with the President, who holds the appointment authority, and the Democratic Party of Korea, which has voluntarily acted as the Blue House’s rubber stamp."
He also pointed out, "The Moon Jae-in administration’s governance lacked public sentiment and only had Moon’s sentiment. The withdrawal of the nominations of the three Im-Pak-Noh candidates, who do not even meet average moral standards, is not a matter of choice but the President’s obvious duty," and criticized, "The public, opposition, and livelihood are being bypassed by the President’s stubbornness and the ruling party lawmakers’ quick-witted actions to first consider the President’s mood."
