Air Busan to Operate Irregular Flights on Busan-Ulaanbaatar Route Starting 15th
[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Air Busan announced on the 13th that it will operate a charter flight from Busan to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia on the 15th.
Air Busan explained that it plans to provide charter flights to ease the inconvenience of corporate passengers, expatriates, and foreign workers who need to travel between Busan and Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
The charter flight will depart from Gimhae International Airport at 6:00 PM on the 15th and arrive at Ulaanbaatar local airport at 9:00 PM. The return flight will depart from the local airport at 1:00 AM and arrive at Incheon International Airport at 5:10 AM.
An Air Busan official said, "Since international flights have not been operating smoothly due to COVID-19, we are operating one-time charter flights after identifying essential travel demand for each route. We plan to safely transport passengers to their destinations with thorough quarantine measures and verified safe flight capabilities."

Meanwhile, Air Busan launched regular flights connecting Busan and Ulaanbaatar in June 2016 and operated 2 to 4 flights per week until the route was suspended due to COVID-19.
