Gangdong-gu Selects Hanssak System and Wellkeeps Consortium as Recommended Candidates for 8th Land Supply at Godeok Biz Valley
Contract for Paper Supply to be Signed in May... Contributing to the Development of the Regional Economic Base
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gangdong-gu (Mayor Lee Jeong-hoon) announced the selection of recommended candidates for the 8th land supply for self-sufficient function facility sites within Godeok Biz Valley on the 4th.
The land supply, conducted for two plots, Self-sufficient 1-4 and Self-sufficient 1-6, was carried out over 60 days amid interest from various companies. The submission of business plans closed on the 19th of last month, followed by the Godeok Biz Valley Corporate Attraction Evaluation Committee meeting. Through a fair evaluation of the applicants' business plans, the recommended candidates for land supply were selected.
Hanssak System, an information security technology development company, was selected for the Self-sufficient 1-4 site, and Wellkeeps Consortium, a manufacturer of medical supplies such as health masks, was selected for the Self-sufficient 1-6 site.
The two selected companies (consortium) will be recommended to the Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation and are scheduled to sign land supply contracts in May.
The corporate evaluation was conducted in detail and objectively by external experts in areas such as corporate capacity, business plans, and community contribution plans. Therefore, the selected companies are expected to be sound and excellent enterprises in their respective industries, contributing to the development of the Gangdong-gu regional economic base.
Previously, the 1st to 7th land supply announcements for self-sufficient function sites in Godeok Biz Valley resulted in the selection of 22 companies (36 companies including consortiums) and knowledge industry centers, with contracts signed with the Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation. Once contracts are signed for the recommended candidates of the 8th land supply, the supply of self-sufficient function sites in Godeok Biz Valley will be fully completed.
Lee Jeong-hoon, Mayor of Gangdong-gu, stated, “The completion of the supply of self-sufficient function sites in Godeok Biz Valley is expected to contribute to local job creation and strengthening the economic base,” adding, “We will do our best until the end to ensure there are no setbacks in the development of Godeok Biz Valley.”
