From May, KakaoTalk Channel Launch and Operation to Strengthen Non-Face-to-Face Childcare Services... 'Uri Dongne Bo-yuk Banjang' Usage Guide and Delivery of Various Local Parenting Information... Small-Scale Face-to-Face Event 'Uri Dongne Bo-yuk Bansanghoe' Scheduled for the 14th
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Yeongdeungpo-gu (Mayor Chae Hyun-il) has launched and begun full operation of the KakaoTalk channel ‘Toktein Uri Dongnae Bo-yuk Banjang’ (Open Our Neighborhood Childcare Leader) starting this month.
Currently, the district has six ‘Our Neighborhood Childcare Leaders’ with extensive parenting experience who provide various childcare resources and services to parents raising children and also handle childcare-related consultations.
They offer consultation and provide information on ▲local childcare resources and daycare centers ▲childcare counseling for preschool children aged 0 to 7 ▲childcare information needed for childbirth and moving in ▲support for vulnerable infant and toddler families ▲support for self-help groups ▲support for childcare neighborhood meetings ▲institutional guidance and linkage ▲customized childcare information.
This year, Yeongdeungpo childcare leaders have discovered a total of 59 childcare resources (including hospitals, walking trails, and facilities/institutions accessible to newborns and infants).
Along with this, they are actively engaged in supporting 112 self-help groups and providing 1,168 consultations and information services.
Their working hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays. Residents who wish to consult with a childcare leader can inquire through the 120 Dasan Call Center or contact the childcare leaders via the contact information provided on the district’s Comprehensive Childcare Support Center website.
In May this year, the district launched a new channel to contact childcare leaders called the ‘Toktein Uri Dongnae Bo-yuk Banjang’ KakaoTalk channel. The plan is to increase residents’ awareness and accessibility to childcare leaders and strengthen communication between childcare leaders and caregivers.
Upon accessing the channel, detailed introductions and usage instructions for ‘Our Neighborhood Childcare Leaders’ are provided.
Additionally, card news containing various childcare information is regularly posted. It will reliably deliver news about infant and toddler support projects and education, which are easy to miss due to busy daily lives and scattered childcare information.
By searching for ‘Yeongdeungpo-gu Uri Dongnae Bo-yuk Banjang’ or ‘Toktein Uri Dongnae Bo-yuk Banjang’ on KakaoTalk and adding the channel, users can receive childcare leader usage guidance along with the latest childcare news from Yeongdeungpo-gu.
The ‘Our Neighborhood Childcare Neighborhood Meeting,’ a small-scale face-to-face event hosted by the Yeongdeungpo-gu Comprehensive Childcare Support Center, will be held on the 14th of this month. Parents and caregivers interested in childcare will gather to discuss local childcare policy issues.
