Gyeongnam Province and City-County Join Forces for New Chapter in Life for Middle-Aged Adults
On the 10th and 11th, Inter-County Meetings Held to Expand the Shinjoongnyeon Life Second Act Project
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Gyeongsangnam-do held an inter-county meeting on the 10th and 11th at the Gyeongnam Life Second Act Support Center (hereinafter referred to as the Support Center) to expand the Life Second Act project for the middle-aged.
At this meeting, discussions were held on the current status of the middle-aged projects in Gyeongsangnam-do, the operation performance of the Support Center, the 2021 project guide, and ways to expand the Life Second Act project for the middle-aged to counties and cities.
The middle-aged projects promoted by the province include the operation of the Support Center, the Middle-aged Tomorrow Connection 50+ project, and the middle-aged career utilization local service job project.
In particular, the collaboration model between the Support Center and the Ministry of Employment and Labor's Middle-aged Job Hope Center was selected as a public contest project by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, with only two out of 17 metropolitan local governments nationwide, including Gyeongnam, chosen, and the support budget is 116 million KRW.
The Support Center plays an integrated foundational role for the comprehensive support of the middle-aged in Gyeongsangnam-do.
