Naju-si Delivers 'Carnation Flowerpots' to Elderly Living Alone in Honor of Family Month
[Naju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Han-hyeok] Naju City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Kang In-gyu) announced on the 10th that, in celebration of Family Month in May, the Dementia Safety Center delivered carnation flowerpots to 100 customized dementia case management recipients on behalf of their children.
The carnation flowerpots were personally delivered along with greeting cards to comfort the lonely hearts of elderly individuals living alone at home who could not participate in the Dementia Safety Center programs due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
The Dementia Safety Center provides one-on-one customized case management services for dementia patients in care blind spots.
Through home visits, the center regularly monitors the living environment and health status of dementia patients to prevent care gaps caused by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and strives to establish a community dementia safety net.
